We only work with raw materials of Mediterranean origins, using exclusively solvent-free extraction methods. We have achieved to made 100% natural products from the origin of the ingredients to the final product, using only water.

OUR STORY

Euronutra was founded in 2006 with a vision to become a global leader in the development and commercialization of innovative nutraceutical ingredients. Over the past 15 years, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for supplements manufacturers worldwide, providing them with high-quality, science-backed natural active ingredients that deliver real health benefits to consumers.

Today, we continue to build on this legacy, using our expertise, creativity, and passion to develop new and innovative solutions that help our customers stay ahead of the curve.

1900-2000

Our story started when our team initiated an agricultural project to make large carob plots (think of >650 hectares.) Due to the potential production capacity of the carob, we started to explore the potential for new products derived from this carob.

Not long after that, we started to produce the world´s first natural carob syrup. After some developments, we also started to produce the world´s first lowering-cholesterol carob fiber.

Eventually, around 1998, we started to produce medium-purity (90%) D-pinitol, and this was the first time it had been produced on a pre-industrial scale in the world.

2000-2010

Euronutra was born in Málaga and was established as a new market-oriented technology company with its development of cutting-edge technology. We started to produce medium purity (90%) specialty inositols such as d-pinitol and d-chiro-inositol (also known as DCI). This was also the first time it was produced on a pre-industrial scale in the world. Besides, we also created the first plant solvent-free technologies and not long after that, we started with the production of 98% pure D-pinitol and D-Chiro-inositol.

2010-2020

We keep on developing our company and our plant has doubled in size, and so are the number of technologies. Next to that, in the field of R&D, we managed to lead the development of several new lines of research, including olive by-products, carob, and external projects. In 2015, we got an agreement for the development of clinical trials with the Public Health Agency. One year later, we created a start-up of a new production plant,
and this enabled us to take the first steps to produce developed projects.
Eventually, we launched products based on carob and other Mediterranean ingredients.

2020-2030

The company affords a new challenge. Due to the technological edge developed over the past 25 years, and the availability of new products with novel indications, we decided to focus on unmet therapeutic solutions for prevalent chronic disorders.
Euronutra decided to strengthen its leadership in the biotechnology sector through the research, development, and manufacture of novel active pharmaceutical ingredients focused on the treatment of infertility, neurodegeneration, affective disorders, and metabolic imbalances, including diabetes.
This challenge demands a new strategy and a new industrial solution: Advenion was born as a spin-off created to expand science and innovation using a unique technological platform with a solid scientific component, creating products of natural origin, being environmentally friendly, and innovating in the treatment of specific chronic diseases.
